Beowulf by Ronie Kendig

About the Book
Beowulf—a hulky, brindle-coated bullmastiff—is the only “boy” for Timbrel Hogan. And she has a history to remind her why. But when Timbrel, a handler at A Breed Apart, embarks on a mission to detect WMDs in Afghanistan, she reunites with Tony “Candyman” VanAllen and her no-other-man philosophy is challenged. While tension mounts between Timbrel and Tony, the team comes under fire after Beowulf gets a “hit.” When tragedy threatens Tony’s career and Timbrel’s courage, they must maneuver through an intricate plot and a mission like no other. . . .

My Thoughts
I first off have to apologize for waiting too long to write this review! I read it during a busy time and just kept forgetting to get around to reviewing it. So now it has been more than a month and I have read several books since so I'm sorry that this review won't be as amazing as it should be!
I loved this book so much! From the moment Timbrel and Tony met, the sparks flew and you knew their story was going to amazing! And it was!
Tony was awesome, I loved his carefree ways, his devotion, and his fierce love. There were times that he was a bit muleish and you wanted to smack him to make him come to his senses but all in all he was a great hero that I absolutely loved!
Timbrel was fantastic as well! Her strength despite all that she'd gone through in her past was quite admirable and I loved watching as she opened herself up to both God and Tony.
The story was definitely gripping and kept me sucked in and wanting more and I loved every minute. This was a stunning conclusion to an amazing series and I can't wait to read Ronie's new series that is about characters that were in this one!
